Here are the minutes for the April 15, 2010 meeting.

1. Approve minutes from 3/18.

2. Reports from subcommittees
a. Fundraising
- Tom Coleman has made a $100 donation to match Frank Stricklin’s $100 donated at the public meeting on Tuesday.
- We’re still about $400 from our goal of 800 dollars for 501(c)3 filing fee.
- Ideas given for fundraising: rummage sale, fun run/ride
- NHHPSG will hold a rummage sale on 5/15 from 9-3 at KSS
- Randy will put Wade in touch with the Events Coordinator for Kitsap Food Co-op for other fundraising ideas/advice
b. Vests and Helmets
- Colen can get NHHPSG members vests for 30 dollars
- helmets can be ordered, start at 12 dollars and go up from there
c. Fish et al in the NW250
- Report postponed, but there is also a bird walk forthcoming via Kitsap Audubon Society.
d. Signs
- Mike Eilmes from Leadership Kitsap gave update on signage. Brought in a prototype, working with Home Depot for donation of labor and materials. Brought in list of suggested trail names.
- Motion made and carried to add intersection numbers to signs for safety reasons
e. Other?
3. Subcommittees- Continue discussion to form subcommittees.
- Formed a subcommittee for rummage sale
4. Rocks: $120 (Delivered…Special thanks to Keith Asbury!)

- we could use broken concrete, other donations of rock or money
5. Trail Maintenance: Trail work party date in the NW 250 acres area has been set for Saturday, April 17, from 10-12 PM. Meeting at the entrance to the Cross Country Trail.
(We’re hoping to solve the water problems at the entrance, so we can use as many hands as possible.)
6. Nancy Frank- On loan to the Kitsap Peninsula Women’s Club

- motion made and carried for Colen to talk to County about getting us rock direct from the County instead of County dumping at Ace then buying it back later.
